Now this blog is 30 days productive - that means I work with this blog nearly every day. So what I did the last 30 day´s and what scores the blog reached in that time?

The last 30 day I wrote some post and start to make a structure in my blog. Also I installed some Wordpress plugins like the Tag Cloud you can see on the right side. So the blog is now ready for visitors but there is still a lot of work to do.

And the next important thing I did was to bring traffic to the blog. So what was possible to reach within 30 days? My Alexa rank is about 310.000 and I think that is really good! You have to know that the rank is a average over 3 Month bud the blog is online only 30 days! Here you can see the results from Alexa - 3 Month average and 1 week average and also the yesterday rank (but that is not always correct).

You can also visit Alexa and check up your or other site. So I will report that again after the next 60 days. Now is the question how I did it and how much does it cost?!?  OK - to get the traffic on my blog I did not spend $1. Read here how to generate traffic for free.

One of my favorite traffic booster is EntreCard.

How does it works with EntreCard? You can join EntreCard for free and set up your account. After your Blog or Website is checked you can visit other EntreCard sites and ´drop´ your card there. You should also install a widget on your site like here or on my site.

And what success you can expect?  Look here:

On Tuesday I set up this new site and join EntreCard.

The next day I have over 60 unique visitors.

And the next 2 days over 100 and 160. That is great!

So If you want to bring traffic to your new blog or site EntreCard is a very good possibilities. And don´t forget it is for free! You only have to visit other sites and drop your card there. You can drop up to 300 cards a day on other blogs. With one other drop I get over 200 visitors a day only by EntreCard visitors.

With that tool you are able to get your Alexa-traffic (*) without to much problems under 250.000.

And how does it works?  (or hot it should work….)

The idea is nice and simple.

Step1

Make a new post on your blog  - a short headline and insert a photo or picture into the post. You do not need add a text to it, but some blogger do.

Step2

Go to the WW site ( I bookmarked it ), leave your Site-name, mail and URL  - leave a short comment and activate the field

That’s it! :)   (But it should not end here!)

Step3

Now the users should visit other WW-links (so you generate traffic to other sites) - Have a look at their very nice WW-photo - write a short comment like ( ´… nice photo…. happy WW! …. )

And I only can recommend you also to make the Step3 - otherwise that project does not work.

For example  WW on  February 25th, 2009. There was 470 Links - I only join the WW and placed my link to this blog with my WW-Photo. And the result was only 5 comments

I made the experience if you visit other blogs and write comments on there WW post you will receive much more visitors on your blog and also more comments to your WW post. The rate is about 25% - so if you make 4 comments on other blogs you will get 1 back.  Sometimes only 5:1

I see here 2 main reasons.  Some users have more then only 1 blog the put in WW. You can be sure there are some leecher who wants to get some traffic without much work.
