Make Traffic with EntreCard
One of my favorite traffic booster is EntreCard.
How does it works with EntreCard? You can join EntreCard for free and set up your account. After your Blog or Website is checked you can visit other EntreCard sites and ´drop´ your card there. You should also install a widget on your site like here or on my site.
And what success you can expect? Look here:
On Tuesday I set up this new site and join EntreCard.
The next day I have over 60 unique visitors.
And the next 2 days over 100 and 160. That is great!
So If you want to bring traffic to your new blog or site EntreCard is a very good possibilities. And don´t forget it is for free! You only have to visit other sites and drop your card there. You can drop up to 300 cards a day on other blogs. With one other drop I get over 200 visitors a day only by EntreCard visitors.
With that tool you are able to get your Alexa-traffic (*) without to much problems under 250.000.

I use entrecard and I get traffic - my only concern is that they ‘drop and run’ - it seems more of a contest. I hope to get traffic that will stop and read the blog as opposed to ‘dropping and running’.

entre card ist great for boosting traffic. but a lot of the droppers are staying just a short time. you really need to have good content to make them stay and read your blog.
